Success in the Business World is Completely Empty Without ...

... achieving and maintaining success in our homes.

That's the message pastor Nathaneal White (left) delivered yesterday at the monthly meeting of the Minnesota Christian Chamber of Commerce.

Among the guiding values of the MCCC is Marriage and Family, based on Matthew 19:6b: "Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

According to Pastor Nathanel, "This value causes us to place family needs above business needs or individual desires." We should intentionally cultivate "healthy, growing relationships with our parents, spouses, and children, and pursue the heart of our Heavenly Father in all that we do."

It's late on a Friday afternoon, so let me leave you with that message and this question ...

If you were on your death bed, would you wish for more time at the office or more time with your family, to say all the heartfelt and loving things you wanted to say?

Well, you're not on your death bed.

And you do have time.

What's stopping you from saying those things tonight?
